Anxiety, depression, irritability and anger can affect all of us at times, as can low self-esteem and lack of confidence. Sometimes life can feel empty, meaningless or we feel worn down by difficult relationships, workplace stress, bereavement, loneliness or as a carer for a loved one.
These difficulties may be of short duration or they may seem to have gone on forever and feel all consuming and insurmountable. Friends and family can be invaluable but sometimes there is a need for professional help.
